Byul Han

This project aims to connect people to people through collaborative design processes that are of democratic nature. I’ve created a community building system where people are encouraged to make bonds with each other through various activities with the single purpose of collective designing, through which they eventually become a community•. By bringing together people from different backgrounds, values, and professions to share their experiences and opinions whilst stepping into the unfamiliar world of design, people can be interested in awakening the desire for creating, which is a unique human ability and a primal need. All of these activities allow us to realize democratic values• (equality, responsibility, rules) in design.
