An installation dedicated to everyone that feels restricted by rigid norms and forms. I created a space inhabited by undefinable, colorful creatures that came into being by my search for new possibilities within shapes and forms of existence. By cutting, stitching, taping, ripping, dyeing, duplicating, mixing and swapping I take apart preconceived definitions, and carefully reassemble them into something new and flexible. Inspired by my experiences while hiking and clubbing, that enhanced my openness and surrender to movement and uncertainty, I try to show a world risen from the ashes of decaying structures. Emphasizing the potential for transformation and fluidity within our surroundings. It’s an encouragement for playful resistance, being open for surprises and possibilities beyond the expected. A suggestion for beholding the world as a continuous movement, rather than a fixed set of forms, groups and categories.
