'To the One I Miss' ( Duration: 16 minutes) is a completely hand-drawn animation, which visualizes the inner void experienced by the artist and her need to understand and unravel this emptiness. The work is based on a fictional tale written by the artist to approach a universal subject: What is this void in ourselves? How do we approach the emptiness inside our minds?
To make the subject more engaging to the audience, the artist approaches this topic with a tale of a person from the moon who travels from the Moon to the Earth and encounters other beings related to the inner void. In the end, encountering the Moon jar enlightens the moon person of their inner void and teaches them how to approach it. Moreover, this tale is intended to empathize with and give guidance to all the people who have experienced a similar situation where they felt like they were lost in their inner void.
To whoever is lost in their void, let this tale be a consolation that you are not the only one who feels emptiness inside.
"I MISS YOU"
This sentence has always been inside my head for a long time
What am I actually missing? Someone that I can't see again? Something that I've lost for a long time? Something that doesn't exist anymore?
Maybe it is.
Sometimes I also don't know what I'm missing.
Just a feeling exists.
But whatever I was missing, there was an unfilled gap inside me that never fulfilled my whole mind. This emotion entangled together like a wired earphone inside a pocket.
A messily tangled 'void' appeared'.
