No Luck today

The series is based on a fairy tale book I found last summer. Each fairy tale features a very similar storyline, along with a moral at the end. I was intrigued by the ‘historic’ style of writing used in common fairy tale language and what memories come up with this. With the feeling of being spellbound after re-reading the book, I started photographing.

In the format of an assemblage, the narrative reveals itself through hand-casted aluminium objects of everyday life relieved from their original (domestic) purpose.
