The scenes and people in this selection of small paintings are made through a perspective that is essentially voyeuristic. I believe that the voyeuristic gaze is an effective way to observe human behavior in a truthful way: it allows a glimpse of the human condition before the subject becomes self-conscious and changes its postures and actions. In these works, I attempt to give new life to these intimate and fleeting moments and offer opportunity to take a longer look at our humanity in a more honest state, before it becomes corrupted by the awareness of being watched.
