Recently, the modern dating market has experienced a renaissance in both friendships and romantic connections. However, this trend has become analogous to the fast food industry —it’s fast, cheap, easy to customize, and available everywhere 24/7. We now consume new relationships by easily initiating online conversations and ending them just as quickly. Also, algorithms efficiently tailor and filter ideal matches with a few swipes, promoting a culture of 'relationship shopping.'

This project illustrates the rapid relationship trend by allowing audiences to order a customized match on a kiosk screen, similar to placing an order in a fast food restaurant. However, Kim advocates for deeper connections by encouraging physical interactions beyond the online environment. Consequently, the receipt will facilitate users in meeting and engaging with diverse individuals in the real world. It achieves this by recommending random matches and enabling users to physically swipe their preference data on the receipt.
