Untangling the Lack of Bewilderment began with an interest in ecofeminism, which expanded to include various environmental and gender ideologies, which resulted in conversations with four women within different fields, and TWIG.
The conversations are played via cassette tapes and cover various topics, from embodiment & truth, publishing & gathering, farming & feminism, to wild women and consciousness.
TWIG aims to explore the connection between humans and nature from a feminist perspective. Whilst also posing the question of what the difference between human and nature is, because couldn’t it be that we are one unity? Here, our understanding, entanglement, and confusion of nature is explored through different styles of writing.
Whether we see nature and humankind as one or as separate entities, there is much to learn from how we communicate about, with, and possibly towards nature.
