As the teeth sprout, fairies crawl from under the beds

It's a dreamy/nightmarish forest. An ecosystem of teethy flowers and other vulnerable monsters that both inhabit this reality as well as co-create its landscape.

Within my installation I play with dualities in aim to disenchant fixed notions of weakness and failure. I am using the idea of monsters from under our childhood beds, in order to break of its negative connotations and explore entangled feelings of safety and fear, beauty within the uneasiness and pain intertwined in the feeling of love and kindheartedness. I hope to create a place where all the hard to reach emotions can grow as big or as little as they need.
