Ka Ying Charlotte Chung

Since 2020, Charlotte has established a collection of portable cassette machines with an archive of documents that testifies her relationship development with the machines. She has been using her recycling method to treat the collection: Collect, Clean, Fix, Modify and Repurpose. In this MRCM offline exhibition, the 52 cassette machines from the collection are each exhibited alongside a Machine Profile, and the visitors can go through the archive of letters Charlotte wrote to each machine. Meanwhile, Charlotte will be carrying out live maintenance procedures for MRCM.
