Wanhopig ingeslikt kots ik de donkere gedaanten weer over mezelf uit. Kruipend, tot ze ontpoppen, de hemel tegemoet, ga ik in gesprek met de schim die zich altijd bij mij voegt. Kijk ik in de diepe ogen van de nacht. Streel ik het monster dat de wacht houdt bij mijn hart. Getemd door het licht dat valt door de deur, altijd op een kier. Samen op de bank met het kind dat niet getroost wordt.
