Noordenwind is a typeface that started from a simple idea: there are not enough serifs in our typefaces. Why should serifs be only in certain places? Why couldn’t it be possible to add them not only to the ends of stems? The family consists of 5 more or less display styles (3 sans and 2 serif) accompanying one regular sans text style. Also inspired by the Dutch wind which is able to blow in all different directions at the same time.
