'I am drawn to people who move through the present in their own rhythm.

Aesthetic codes circulate, reappear, and are sometimes reshaped into new visual languages.

Some, like Bart, draw from rock, new wave, and other subcultures in music. Others, like Yana and Roxanne, use social media as a space for performance, excess, and self-invention. These references become part of everyday life, carried through clothes, gestures, images, attitudes. What connects them is a freedom to invest deeply in what moves them.

There is an intensity to the way they inhabit the world, both in appearance and internally. They are not separate from their surroundings, but emerge through them.

These are people I know, photograph, and spend time with. Through these portraits, I capture gestures, sensibilities, and ways of being ; showing a facet of contemporary youth.'

Agathe's photographic practice explores the porous boundary between reality and fiction, focusing on moments where everyday life becomes naturally theatrical. She is drawn to exuberance, to what overflows, exceeds the frame, and disrupts neutrality through style, gesture, and presence.
She works through a hybrid approach that moves between observation and subtle activation. Rather than staging scenes in a traditional sense, she remains attentive to moments of visual tension already present in the real, sometimes extending them through playful, minimal interventions involving costume, gesture or mise-en-scène. Her process is intuitive and DIY, drawing from fashion photography, music culture and cinema. Rooted in collaboration, her practice develops through ongoing ex-changes with artists, performers and musicians, moving fluidly between personal, commissioned and editorial projects.

Her work combines digital and analogue processes, focusing on portrai- ture and textured image-making, playing with temporal ambiguity, as if the images belonged to imagined or fictional archives.
