“Sometime in April I Lived with an Image of a Window “returns images of strangers’ homes to a room.
Drawn from old Flickr archives, fragments of windows, furniture, and domestic interiors are enlarged and lived with before being returned to the online spaces from which they came. Through this process, anonymous rooms become strangely familiar, occupying the space between intimacy and distance.
The installation and publication trace this movement between a private home and a public archive reflecting on the persistence of personal images online and the questions of privacy, consent, and ownership that emerge when they are brought back into physical space.
