By exploring material culture, through the lens of naturally oxidated copper, the material itself becomes a witness and a trace of time. The installation acts almost like a portal where the past, present, and future can coexist. Instead of fixing the past, it explores how materials can carry history while still evolving. It reflects on what we choose to preserve and what we allow to transform. The publication consists of a collection of conversations gathering voices from around the world, different views on what is meaningful for different cultures. It’s an invitation to the viewer to reflect on what should be remembered or allowed to fade.
