Once upon a time you would upload something on the internet and only be concerned with the reactions of other users. Now we worry about whose database these uploads might end up on, and peering into an abyss of corporate mystery, we lose all control of what might be built with them. On an internet that’s become the food-source for generative AI development, this project defends individual ownership. Tackling the issue from square one, it explores alternative approaches to web development to make text content physically inaccessible or useless to these initiatives.
