A Blessing Manual proposes a visual system rooted in the Korean traditional pattern, Dancheong. Traditional Dancheong motifs are deconstructed, reinterpreted, and reconstructed into modular units with distinct symbolic meanings. By combining these modules, new meanings are generated, transforming decorative elements into a symbolic language representing fortune and protection. This research contributes to the rediscovery and expansion of traditional symbolism, offering a practical application of cultural heritage as a visual language.
