Βόρβορος (vorvoros)

My current practice centers on construction materials like rusted metal, cement, and industrial fragments, matter often seen as inert or discarded, which I treat as carriers of memory, ecological trauma, and cultural inheritance. I evoke landscapes shaped by contamination, decay, and coastal transformation, where ruins become sites of negotiation. My work reimagines these remnants as hybrid forms that shelter stories among the cracks. I am drawn to temporalities that resist resolution, exploring how erosion, fiction, and extractive violence shape how we inhabit damaged worlds.
