Designers are often thought of as the ones changing the world. However, there is a huge gap between the average designer’s actual impact and the world’s most burning issues. This project exposes the contrast between the seemingly unimportant, ritualistic studio routines and the constant urgency of the never-ending ending of the world outside the studio that can result in a very surreal and dissonant state.

“The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog” is a pangram, a sentence that includes each letter of the alphabet, commonly used in graphic design. Throughout the performance, this empty sentence becomes a mantra mumbled to oneself, as the printer-turned-instrument spits out A4s full of them, set in very similar typefaces, playing sinister melodies.
