On the night of October 30, 2015, the Colectiv club in Bucharest caught fire, marking a national tragedy that exposed the fatal consequences of corruption and institutional failure. Ten years later, I return to this open wound, not to reproduce its image, but to question how it has been represented in the media. Through fragmented visuals and a manipulated narrative, the book calls for investigation, while the hand-made curtain referencing the club invites the spectator to walk through the footage, thus disturbing it. This work resists passive mourning and asks the audience to reflect on the limits of visual media.
