Untitled Straw Installation

The installation invites viewers to move around or into the work, exploring the tension between feeling protected and feeling exposed, allowing viewers to navigate this themselves, alone or together. Two discreet openings create a space that can be entered and shared. The installation is made from straw, a material often associated with insulation and shelter, and is inspired by natural forms like cocoons and nests.

Sheltered, yet exposed. This Untitled Straw Installation invites viewers to interact with the sculpture by having them navigate the physical and emotional space inside the work.
A group of visitors with visual impairments explore the sculpture through touch and smell, with a guide dog standing nearby.
