FADV is conceptually based on my research on possibilities of going somewhere that doesn't exist. It is an experiment on simulating nothingness. It attempts to merge quantum unpredictability with general relativity. It is my own version of string theory. While practically absurd, it expresses a deep emotional quest for finding belonging in nothingness.

Floating Aerotrim Derealization Vehicle (FADV) is a kinetic sculpture in which the artist, mounted within, activates its movements. It is a cold cage made of metal that allows for longitudinal, lateral, vertical rotation and travel against gravity. In the performance, the artist fluctuates into a white dot as if he doesn't exist. As rigid as metal is, it is fluid in my hands. For restrictive and heavy FADV is, it lets me free, makes me float.
